Remove Reading Instruction From Schools

Paypal now chooses what we can read anyway, right? Sound ridiculous, irrational, and/or dramatic?  Good.  You get my point.

Here’s The National Coalition Against Censorship press release/letter regarding PayPal’s cowardly decision not to complete transactions for books that contain words such as rape and incest. So now, giving true-to-life accounts of a rape in a fictitious manner will not be tolerated?  So, it’s come to this…

I, for one, don’t look forward to having to rearrange my calendar in an effort to free-up time so that I can chain myself to some Paypal exec’s lawn tractor.  But this is a bit, well…stupid.  What next?

If you need me, I’ll be in the attic looking for my torch; practicing my battle cry, “Kill the beast!”  Hhhhhh

‘Til the lip sticks and chocolate chips,
